Get the warmth where you need it.
A room that never feels warm enough, a leaking valve or a radiator in the wrong place needs a practical solution matched to the heating system.
One cold radiator, or an uneven system?
Describe which rooms are affected and whether the radiator is cold all over, only in one area, or simply slow to warm up. These observations help scope the visit; they are not a diagnosis. A valve issue, air, circulation or controls may need attention before a replacement is recommended.
Replace or move a radiator with the details agreed.
For planned work, send photos, the current radiator dimensions, the room size and any changes to the room. Pipe positions, wall space and access all affect the job. The quote can then explain what is being replaced, any pipework changes and what is not included, such as making good decorations.
Balancing and valves work together.
Balancing is the adjustment of how heating water is distributed around a suitable system. It is different from bleeding trapped air or cleaning contamination. Thermostatic radiator valves and the main heating controls need to be considered together rather than treated as isolated upgrades.
Plan around decorating or other work.
Tell us when flooring or decorating is happening before booking. It can be more useful to coordinate a planned radiator change than to drain and refill repeatedly. For a current leak or loss of heating, choose a diagnosis visit rather than a future improvement enquiry.
